By the way, I'm scheduled to give a seminar in Madison at the very end of January, Jan 29 I believe. If you have room for it, I could bring all of my ice fishing stuff at that time. Maybe the two of us could ice-fish with Austin for a while, then I could just leave the stuff with you for the next few years.
Oops, my bad Jeff, that was the Asahi River. I named the post Okayama River Dam by accident. I think Nagase's bass on the left was 46 cm. Take a look at the blog on my list titled "Okayama Field Report Part 2". That guy got the biggest bass of the day.

Spoiler alert - those 4 bass in the picture are the only fish we caught, even after more than 8 hours of nonstop fishing.
The bass on the left looks quite large, maybe 3 or 4 pounds. Are you going to that other river, the one that starts with an "A"?
