My girlfriend the fish expert!
She did it! The last person I expected to ID the fish I caught in Japan (no offense, if you're reading this) was my girlfriend. It's called a Japanese whiting or シロギス in Japanese. It's popular fried in tempura.

Haha, she made a guest appearance on my post from Aug 13th. Things have been a little busy with getting ready for that collegiate powerlifting competition and writing my first research paper (the draft is due in 1 week!), but I'll definitely get out fishing again before it gets too cold.
