Lots of perch

Round 2 for the weekend, this time an hour and a half up north. The perch were biting! Caught them at a depth of about 17 ft using wax worms and small minnows on jigheads.

How are ice conditions there after the warm weather? We pretty much lost the ice on ponds, but I suppose you had enough ice that it will still be safe.

The ice is still plenty thick, as long as you avoid spots where there is a current (around the end of Picnic Point, openings to the Yahara, etc). The issue more has been trudging through slush. The temperatures are going to be back below freezing shortly so I can get back to it. :)
